Glade home fragrance deal

Have I told you all about BzzAgent?  It’s  a social marketing company I joined and they send me samples of products to try, which I tell people about if I like them or don’t.  The latest product I am trying out is the Glade Expressions collection.  So far I’ve only been able to try the mister because the I haven’t been able to get my hands on the oil diffuser I want.  I must admit that I really like it.  The other day when I was cooking and our small house was filled with the smell of grease.  I was able to walk through each room and spray a little air freshener and voila!  Grease smell gone and fresh cotton breeze lingered.  But here’s the best part–right now, Target is giving away a free refill when you buy the starter kit.  Even better, you can go to their website and print a $1 off Glade air care item and stack it with the manufacture’s coupon (link below) making them free or $0.99!  You’ll be saving between $5-$10 to have your house smell all pretty.  Woohoo!

Orange

“Knock knock!  ”

“Who’s there?”

“Orange”

“Orange who?”

“Orange you going to Orange County this weekend?”……….huh??!!  (was that really bad?)

Two great kid events are happening this weekend and they are both in the OC.  Luckily they are on different days so you can go to both!  On Saturday, Irvine is playing host to the Global Village Festival to celebrate it’s diversity.  How wonderful is that?  The event is taking place at Bill Barber Park from 10 am-6 pm.  There will be a Kids Village with a play area, crafts games and performances.  What a great way to learn about other cultures.

On Sunday is the OC Children’s Book Festival at Orange Coast College from 9:30 am-4:30 pm.  Many of you and your family’s favorite authors and illustrators will be there such as the author of Fancy Nancy, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, etc.  How awesome would it be to hear the author of Chicka Chicka Boom Boom read you the story he wrote?!   There will be lots of entertainment for children including Sid the Science Kid performing onstage.  On top of all this, there will be an Animal Stage, a Petting Zoo, and even free train rides.  Parking and admission are both free.

Hope you’ll be able to get out and enjoy one of these events.  Have a great weekend!

Museum Day FREE

This Saturday is Smithsonian’s Museum Day Live!  What does this mean?  Free admission to a wide variety of participating museums!  The offer is valid for two people on September 29, 2012.  Enter your information and they will email a ticket to you.  One of the museums closest to the Cerritos area is the Heritage Museum and Kellogg house in Santa Ana.  My son had a chance to visit them on a school field trip and really enjoyed it.  A few other fun choices might be the Grammy museum at L.A. Live or the Autry museum.  What a great opportunity to visit a museum you may not have experienced yet.  Whatever you plans are, have fun!

$1 Jamba Juice

Jamba Juice is running their Dollar Days happy hour again!  I generally prefer the adult happy hour but I guess this will do.  They are offering the 16 oz size for $1 but if that isn’t big enough for you, you can get the bigger sizes for $2 or $3.   It’s valid at the Cerritos location but to confirm other participating locations, click here.
